PayPal™
Information for Meadow Creek Lodge and Event Center.
You do not have
to have a PayPal™ account in order to pay
for products and services through this website.
A common misconception is that in order to use PayPal,
you must have a PayPal account. That was
true up until about 5 years ago when eBay™
purchased PayPal. Since that time, there is
no requirement to have a PayPal account
to purchase products and services.
Making a payment without a PayPal account.
The PayPal screen suggests that you
should login to make a payment (the large login
box on the right), but you need not do so.
On the lower left of the screen is information
stating:
Don't have a PayPal
account?
Use your credit card or bank account (where
available). Continue
Click the Continue link on that screen
to make your payment (the illustration above is not
a link).
Had a PayPal account, but can no longer
access it.
This is a common problem that results from
those days (some 5 years ago) when people using PayPal
had to have an account in order to make payments.
That is no longer true, but for those people that did
have a PayPal account at one time, it can
be a problem, because email addresses change
frequently (and are required to access a PayPal
account).
If you are in this situation, we recommend:
Access the alternate link (see previous
item) and try paying for the items using your
current email address. If it is different from
the one you used to create your PayPal
account, it will probably work just fine.
If you are notified by PayPal's
system that you do have an account
using that email address, then we recommend
you use either the Forgot password link
to retrieve it or contact PayPal directly.
If "all else fails," you may
either:
Download and print our off-line order
form, then send it to our offices
Call our offices at (303) 838-4167 and
place your order over the phone.
Finally - a suggestion:
If you had a PayPal account at one
time, but are no longer using it, or have no
need of one currently, we recommend you cancel
that account. Quite a number of websites use PayPal
and taking a few minutes to remove this barrier
to your online shopping experience will return
substantial benefits in the future.
You can always reestablish it later and the
price is right - it's free!
